Day 3 - London: Shakespeare's theatre

Inside the theatre, we were not allowed to take photographs because the cast and director were doing a "silent run" of the play that is opening tomorrow evening in the theatre: "The Merchant of Venice".
Here are some photos taken from the following blog: (http://blog.shakespearesglobe.com/post/117846452263/the-merchant-of-venice-directed-by-jonathan) which show what the stage looked like and what the costumes look like too. This is what were privileged to see being practised!

Day 4 - Big Ben and the London Eye

Before leaving London we just had time to see Big Ben....
...and the London Eye.

A great two days in London and with glorious sunshine!

Day 4 - A walk through central London.

After taking the Tube, we met some strange, multi-coloured people!

Day 4 - Interviews in English in a London park.

Today we also took some time to interview people in one of London's many parks. The interviews were in English and you'll be able to watch the videos of some of these interviews next week - here on the blog.

Day 4 - A video of our pupils in the Tube.

With music effects provided by a true London Tube "busker" who was
a big fan of the Swedish band "A-ha".

Day 4 - Let's take the tube!

After the British Museum we walked to Holborn Tube station to take the London Underground, or the Tube, as it is called in London.

Going up!

Waiting for the next tube train.
